Wednesday, Feb.14th, 2013..
It's 7:20 here in Levi's country and we just finished a nice dinner out. Our driver is kind, but scared me to death as he drove down the side walk to get us back onto our street that getting back onto via the  main street was to hard to access. Didn't bother him one bit, the people walking in front of him, lol. So different how they drive here. It was the same in Ukraine. Very much live by (-drive by-) a different set of rules then we do in America, in many aspects. Our apartment is nice and very big. Our flights were easy going with  a long 11 hour lay over in Munich. Mat (after some coaxing, and more coaxing) finally talked me into leaving the safety of the airport and we ventured out into the city. We took a train and hopped out only God knows where, but it worked. We walked around in the snow and cold in what looked like an outside mall with beautiful buildings all around it. Stopped for a latte and some pastries and then back to the train to make our flight here. We got in early this morning at 4 am. Im very tired and really don't think I've slept enough in the past 2 weeks getting ready for all this. My emotions have been running high for sure. I've been reading the book of Joshua and find great comfort it and of God moving his people and going before them, doing great things for them along the way (like stopping the Jordan River for them to walk though..on dry ground, mind you!) Amazing!!, I find comfort in their the trust and faith that is evident in their lives as He calls them to do some crazy things...like walk around a huge city and shout at the end to over take it. But they do it and God rewards them for their faith. How awe inspiring!
Tomorrow is court at 3. Our driver will meet us at 10:30 to take us to Levi's home (still not sure if we will call him Levi or Nika just yet..I like Nika, it's a pretty name -don't you think?) So anyway..for now, I'm going to go rest. I'll set my alarm so I can get up in a bit to Skype with my gang..who I miss beyond words :(  Pray for favor in court tomorrow, will you?
