Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. 1 Peter 4:12

We have praise reports and not so great stuff going on in between. Including having to put a hold on our travel date for Levi ;(

Eli: Eli deals with a lot of respiratory issues, especially in the Fall and Winter seasons. If someone sneezes in our home it's a give in that Eli is going to be dealing with something soon. The month of February started it and thankfully mid  March is ending it. Eli was spending many nights back and forth in the hospital these last 6 weeks but he's got a great med routine down now, new breathing treatments in place and he's back to himself and doing great (Thank You Lord :)
The not so great part? His doc suggested we not take him with us during our travels. We fully agree so we'll be missing him with our others since he'll be staying home. ;(

New Van: Two weeks ago we listed our Suburban on Craigslist. It sold in 3 days for the full asking price :D (thanks Lord!) We'd been looking for a 15 passenger van but came across this one on Craigslist that had been listed back in Feb. for a really good price. Just taking a chance I called on it and found it was still for sale. We brought it home last night :D It's a 12 seater~but it's got great mileage, is in wonderful shape and we got a REALLY good deal on it (The kids lOVE it, Thanks again, Lord)

Were it started..

Levi: Still no updated news on him ;( But, we're really close to being able to travel for him (Yay!!) But we ran into a snag. Last Friday we had a main sewage pipe burst above our kitchen. Our kitchen area, down stairs bathroom area and into our classroom was all contaminated. We've had people in and out of our home all week now. Thankfully, it's been cleaned, de-contaminated and is safe again for us to be here, but very inconvenient with no access to our kitchen area. They had to take down parts of our ceiling, take out cabinets, remove our flooring and knock out areas on our walls. Our home is a mess. Our insurance offered to put us in a temp home, but it would just be to hard with all our needs being met here for school, Isaac and Eli safety gates, doors and so on. So instead they've blocked access to the kitchen area and we're living on fast food, crock pot meals (just bought a new one since our old one was dumped along with all our pots and pans) in the living room area & with new plumbing in place bathrooms working upstairs the upstairs area. Believe it or not..we had to let our in country attorney know NOT to schedule us a court date yet cause this mess has to be taken care of here. We've explained the situation to our AAA adjuster and they've been great at making sure we'll be getting things back in order as quickly as possible. Our home should be safe for Levi to come home to in about 3 weeks. Once it's done we can travel. Amazing that after so much wait on our part we now have to be the ones putting things on hold. My faith is in place though and I'm so thankful this didn't happen while we were out of country or upon us just returning home with him. Thank You Lord!

Travel Care for our gang: Recently my husbands dad and his wife moved up near us. It's been a huge, awesome blessing having them so close to us. We see them just about every week-end. Have nice nights out together, and each of our kids have gotten special one-on-one nights with their grandparents. During our time away they'll be staying with our gang here at our home. (Thank You Lord for being our great Provider and taking care of us)
So that's the gist of the Fox home right now. I'm learning to have a humble spirit before the Lord always and even in this trying situation right now, I feel ever so thankful to be in this spot and to have the honor of saying thank you to the Lord for all that we have in spite of it all. :D

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Mat. 6:25

This is you in the orphanage before moving to your foster home when we committed to you. You were 3 years old. (11.2008)
Dearest Levi,
It's Monday, March 12th, 2012...
Today it's been 3 years, 8 months, 2 weeks and 3 days since we started this incredibly faith inducing and crazy journey to you. I have learned how to pray, how to trust, how to really just give every situation over to the Lord while on this journey. It's been one that has grown our family's faith and strengthened us as a whole. Bet you didn't realize God has been using you like that, did you? :) And how exciting it's been! Loonnnng, but exciting :D
Your 4 here..living with your foster mom..She loves you VERY much.
Two weeks ago we got our confirmation letter from the National
Visa Center letting us know your approval was sent to your country & your visa to come home will be waiting for you there. ♥. Nesting's kicked in here as we're getting ready to have you finally come home. It seems like we've been waiting forever. God's been preparing our hearts in a really big way for you little love. He's cast out every ounce of fear I've felt in knowing your needs are different then my other kiddo's with special needs. He's erased every doubt I've ever felt along this journey in wondering if we should to be continuing on. He's left my heart full of wonderful anticipation for you~ Excitement, joy and longing.. :)
You getting loved on at 5 years old :)
I simply can't wait to met you, love you, hold your hand as you fall asleep, or steal kisses from your tender cheeks.
Your Papa, Levi, is a big strong man who isn't afraid to show compassion and love. His tenderness is a strength many men don't have. It's a quality I admire tremendously in him.
Papa showing his tender side w/ your brother Eli ♥
He's ready to have you home too...He's been making sure everything is ready for you. He's put your bed up (but you'll most likely be one of the other little bodies squeezed in between your Papa and I with your brothers who just don't care for their own beds as much as they do for ours ♥), sold our 8 seater Suburban and replaced it with a 12 seater van just so you have a spot to sit :) and he's been listening to me tell him all about what I've learned from studying things online about your needs.
No doubt little mister, your gonna have tons of fun here :) Your brothers and sisters are all excited to have you home :D.

Eli, Isaac, Ezekiel, Ayla, Naomi and Rubee..Your brothers and sisters :D
You'll get to meet Rubee first since she'll be coming with us to bring you home and maybe Eli too (if his doctor clears him for travel). And I just know you won't rest much when you first get home, but it'll be okay..the love you'll be having poured over you will give you energy to be sustained ♥. And I want you to know too that even though you don't know who we are yet we rest assured that while God has been preparing our hearts for you, in His own unique way He's been preparing yours too. I'm not even afraid of not bonding quickly anymore. He's already let me know our bondings to each other will be a smooth and easy one. I know meeting us will be a big change for you. We'll smell different, look different and even sound different to you..(though I have been working hard at learning your language :) But love, Levi, thankfully is a universal thing..and soon little mister, you'll know us well. :D
Our last updated pictures of you..Your 6 here. In May you'll be 7 & I'm we're so thankful that we'll be together this year to celebrate you :)
It won't be long now & for sure, we're ready!
♥ Lord, until we're all together..keep each of us safe.
With (much, much, much) love...Mama

**Update from our agency~Our destination country requested some original doc's to be sent to them vs. copies. They've already been sent and are being translated. Lords willing they'll be giving us our court date before this month is over :D I am continually amazed by God's grace and perfect timing as trusting Him has become easier & easier in this process. I'm humbled by Him and feel so honored that He see's our family fit to be Levi's. Amazzziiinnnggg! :D
