This is my version of normal. It's loud, hectic, fun, & sometimes stressful. Dirty dishes are always having to be washed & the laundry piles up way to fast. Homeschooling 6 teaches me something new everyday & having 2 boys
with Down Syndrome taught me that the worlds got alot of learning to do too. I'm learning to view the mundane as true blessings~Dishes, laundry & all. We're adopting again, so for now part of my ♥'s in Eastern Europe. My Levi.

Naomi & Zoey ♥

My Naomi's 8th birthday came and went so quickly this year. I never knew time could move both so fast and so slow at the same time. She's such a special little one. I love how all my children are all so unique in who they are. Our Naomi is a spunky one. Full of sass and life. She's the best with one liners that take you to the floor in stitches! This year we decided it was time to make her dream come true. See, we have this really awesome cat who we all love dearly...Sammy. He's been a part of our family for almost 13 years now & he's alot like Naomi; full of spunk! You'd never guess he's an old man :) But here's the thing about Sam...He's a total mama's boy. & I'm not his mama :D Ayla is. We got Sam when Ayla was about to turn 2 and he was all about being with Ayla 24/7 since the day he came home at 3 months old. He's almost like a dog when it comes to her. He'll come to her call, sit by the door if she's out and looks for her, mews for her to pick him up...and only does it with her. It's a pretty cool bond they share & one that Naomi has longed for with a cat of her own. Since her 6th birthday she's been asking for cat of her own. But our home is pretty full already. Loads of kids, 2 big dogs & Sam. I know it doesn't really sound like much..but we all share the same home & it's not a very big one :)
Well, after some good talks we knew it was the right time to introduce our little lady to some responsibility and her own little love to be close with.
Saying good-night & good-bye to my 7 year old

Good morning my beautiful 8 year old Naomi!

On our way to met Papa at the Human Society
feelings of excitement setting in :D

Meeting Papa there..
After visiting 3 other rooms we come in this one...

Introducing Zoey to the family
And Naomi finds Zoey..Or maybe Zoey found Naomi?

And to her room & her new bed (Naomi's bed :)

It was a full day & both Naomi & Zoey were ready for their first night together forever ♥
So Zoey's been home with us for 9 days and so far, so good :) Naomi is an awesome Mama and is doing a great job of making sure Zoey is fed, her litter is clean and that she's getting an overload of attention. In all she's adjusted nicely to our chaos..Uhemmm, I mean enviorment  :D So glad we have the privilege to be able to do these types of things for our littles ♥

So sweet! Glad you got a shelter kitty! They are the best and necessary. Our Mee Meow was a shelter kitty, but was already 2 years old when we got her and now going on 13 years old too like Sam. What a perfect gift for a special little girl. : )
